Literature in the fundamental aspects of physiological psychology.

 

  1. Understand basic principles of the molecular biology of the neuron
  2. Understand basic principles of electrophysiology
  3. Understand basic principles of synaptic transmission
  4. Become familiar with neuroanatomy and autonomic and endocrine systems
  5. Become familiar with the basic functions of sensory and motor systems
  6. Understand how neuroanatomical, autonomic, and endocrine systems and/or processes mediate basic behaviors
  7. Become familiar with basic research literature in Behavioral Neuroscience, read and critically evaluate original research reports
