Neil Morelli, Ph.D., is the Head of Research for The Cole Group, a premier retained search firm serving high-growth web-based and mobile startups founded in the San Francisco Bay Area. His current role involves developing technology-based sourcing and screening methods for executive candidates. Before joining the Cole Group, he worked as a solution consultant for Logi-Serve, LLC, an early-stage company specializing in advanced technology-enabled assessments. Much of his research focus has involved the equivalency and use of mobile devices for delivering online selection assessments, which he has presented in multiple Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) conference symposia and published in The International Journal of Selection and Assessment and The Journal of Business and Psychology. He holds a M.S. in industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a doctorate in I-O psychology from the University of Georgia.
