Our research focuses on the examination of both general and pathological models of personality and their use in assessing and conceptualizing personality disorders, externalizing behaviors, and psychopathology more broadly. In addition to the studies running in our lab, we have active departmental, regional (e.g., Purdue University), and international (e.g., University of Liverpool) collaborators, which allows us to use a personality model framework to examine a wide range of variables, including (but not limited to) relational functioning, gambling behavior, pain tolerance, bystander intervention, ERPs, etc.
