Graduate Student Behavioral and Brain Sciences Program Education Education: B.A., Cognitive Science, University of California - Berkeley, 2016 Research Research Interests: My research interests are in the relationship between bilingualism and social cognition, particularly in how bilingualism as a mechanism affects theory of mind. I study the differences between performance on social cognitive tasks and self-assessment on social cognitive capacities when comparing monolingual and bilingual individuals. Broadly, my focus is on understanding how language effects the way people conceive of the world around them, whether qualitatively or qualitatively.
