Kristi Logan

Lecturer, Industrial-Organizational Program

Dr. Kristi Logan started as a full-time Lecturer for the University of Georgia in Fall of 2022. This past fall semester, Dr. Logan taught a wide array of undergraduate psychology courses: Research methods, research analysis, psychological testing, and psychology of the workplace. 

Previously Dr. Logan has worked as a consultant for Personnel Decisions Research Institutes. She worked on several military contracts. Projects included developing selection measures and team performance measures for Air Force Aircrews and measuring adaptability in the Army. Corporate projects included developing situational judgement tests (SJTs) for financial advisors and insurance agents. More recently Dr. Logan has worked in academic settings. She taught Business Analytics for the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University. Dr. Logan was also an adjunct faculty member for Park University’s online I-O master’s program where she developed the regression course. She transitioned to the role of interim Program Director for the MAIO program. She has also been an adjunct faculty member for Wesleyan College. 

Dr. Logan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a MA and PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Creighton University. She is a member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She is an active member of the Education and Training’s Online subcommittee which is dedicated to providing resources for graduate students, especially those in online and hybrid I-O master’s and PhD programs. 

Dr. Logan is married and has two children. Her daughter recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and her son is currently a student at the University of Alabama.

Kelsey Elise Roberts

Graduate Student, Behavioral and Brain Sciences Program

Kelsey Roberts is a graduate student in the Behavioral and Brain Sciences program at the University of Georgia. She is a member of the Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience lab under the advisement of Dr. Jennifer McDowell. Additionally, she operates the 1T and 7T small animal MRI systems at the University's Bio-Imaging Center (the BIRC). Her research interests include neural mechanisms of cognitive control in clinical and healthy populations. Her work primarily utilizes MRI and infrared eye-tracking.

Han Maria Jia

Research Interests:

I'm interested in exploring how brains discriminate emotional stimuli during naturalistic perception tasks. Specifically, using electroencephalography (EEG), I want to understand how the cortical and subcortical structures work together in real time.
