Graduate Student, Social, Developmental, and Health Psychology Stan completed a liberal arts undergraduate education at the University College Maastricht (UCM) and a Research Masters in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University. During his Master's, he conducted a research internship at the University of Cambridge with Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, assisting Dr. Sara De Felice with research on interpersonal dynamics and learning. His thesis used previously collected data from University College London to examine the relationship between learning and social interaction in online contexts. Stan subsequently worked as a Research Assistant with Professor Eveline Crone at Erasmus University Rotterdam, contributing to (f)MRI data collection for the Growing Up Together in Society (GUTS) consortium. He then worked with Professor Michelle Achterberg to establish an MRI study on parental burnout, independently scanning approximately 100 participants and supervising student research assistants. As a PhD student at UGA, his research interests focus on developmental neuroscience and mental health during adolescence.
